Short Time Psycology Exposure Cum Internship

We offer a short-term internship programme in Psychology for beginner-level psychology that is aimed at introducing the basic concepts of psychology, psychotherapy, and psychometric assessments to students who have just started their journey with the subject (including students of classes XI and XII who have Psychology as part of their academic curriculum).

The 15 days (or 90 hours) basic programme includes introduction to :

  • Psychology and counseling including basics of case history taking.
  • Child psychopathology including basics of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Behavioral Problems.
  • Adult psychopathology including basics of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Substance Abuse, Personality Disorders, and Behavioral Problems.
  • The basics of psychometric assessments and batteries/instruments including IQ testing, Beck’s Depression Inventory, and Sentence Completion Test.
  • Basics of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavior Modification techniques.

Certificates will be awarded to all candidates subject to successful completion of the internship.

One Month Basic Internship

We offer a short-term basic internship programme in Psychology (Counseling and Clinical) that is aimed at introducing the basic concepts of psychology, psychotherapy, and psychometric assessments to students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences.

The 25 days (or 150 hours) basic programme is divided into four parts:

  • Part I - Basics of counseling including child and adult history taking, as well as mental status examination.
  • Part II - Basics of Psychopathology including child psychopathology (basics of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Behavioral Problems) as well as adult psychopathology (basics of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Substance Abuse, and Behavioral Problems).
  • Part III - Basics of Psychotherapy including basics of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavior Modification techniques, and the underlying principles of therapy.
  • Part IV - Introduction to Psychometric Assessment including IQ testing (MISIC and WAPIS), Beck’s Depression Inventory, Sentence Completion Test, 16 Personality Factor Scale, ADHDT, and Y-BOCS (basics).

In addition, candidates will be eligible to attend selective client sessions for observation. Certificates will be awarded to all candidates subject to successful completion of the internship.

One Month Advanced Internship

We offer a short-term advanced internship programme in Psychology (Counseling and Clinical) that is aimed at providing insights and helping candidates develop a healthy understanding of the concepts of psychology, psychotherapy, and psychometric assessments to students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences.

The 25 days (or 150 hours) advanced programme is divided into four parts:

  • Part I - Introduction to counseling including child and adult history taking, mental status examination, and Paris Window.
  • Part II - Introduction to Psychopathology including child psychopathology (basics of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Selective Mutism, and Behavioral Problems) as well as adult psychopathology (basics of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Substance Abuse, Behavioral Problems, and Personality Disorders).
  • Part III - Introduction to Psychotherapy including basics and the underlying principles of therapy of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Modification techniques, and Problem Solving Techniques.
  • Part IV - Introduction to Psychometric Assessment including IQ testing (MISIC and WAPIS), Beck’s Depression Inventory, Sentence Completion Test, 16 Personality Factor Scale, ADHDT, and Y-BOCS (basics). Report making for the said assessments shall also be introduced.

In addition, candidates will be eligible to attend selective client sessions for observation, as well as a visit each to a rehabilitation center and a NGO. Certificates will be awarded to all candidates subject to successful completion of the internship.

Two Month Comprehensive Internship

We offer a comprehensive internship programme in Psychology (Counseling and Clinical) that is aimed at providing insights and helping candidates develop a healthy understanding of the concepts of psychology, psychotherapy, and psychometric assessments via hands-on guidance to students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Psychology or Behavioral Sciences.

The 50 days (or 240 hours) comprehensive programme is divided into four parts:

  • Part I - Introduction to counseling including child and adult history taking, mental status examination, and Paris Window.
  • Part II - Introduction to Psychopathology including child psychopathology (basics of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Selective Mutism, Behavioral Problems, and SLD) as well as adult psychopathology (basics of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Substance Abuse, Behavioral Problems, and Personality Disorders).
  • Part III - Introduction to Psychotherapy including basics and the underlying principles of therapy of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Modification techniques, Problem Solving Techniques, Progressive Muscle Relaxation techniques, and Guided Imagery.
  • Part IV - Introduction to Psychometric Assessment including IQ testing (MISIC and WAPIS), Beck’s Depression Inventory, Sentence Completion Test, 16 Personality Factor Scale, ADHDT, Y-BOCS, Career Testing, Mini Mental Scale, and Neo 5. Interpretation and report making for the said assessments shall also be introduced.

In addition, candidates will be eligible to attend selective client sessions for observation, take case history or selective clients, as well as a visit each to a rehabilitation center, a NGO, and a Psychiatrist’s clinic. Certificates will be awarded to all candidates subject to successful completion of the internship.
